Slapead's Stuff

We were badgered by the 7-year old into getting this game for his DS. I was dubious as I hate any type of "alternative world" game. After being suckered into buying Riven over 11 years ago I am soured on them.

I played it for a few minutes and hated it. You wander around being talked to by characters and offering responses. You can do jobs and get money. There is a whole town of places and people to interact with. And that's pretty much it. You gain points n stuff but there is no actual "point" to the thing. You an have up to 4 different characters too.

But guess what, the kid loves it. Totally addicted to it and spends ages trying to improve his various ratings. Not only that but the 5-year old loves it too. So I have to give it a top score. It's a game for kids, it encourages social skills and they love it.
